A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. Also with a three night stay we will drop you off or pick you up using your canoes or kayaks. Pictures are current.

Relax & play at the cozy Betsie River Log Cabin. We work hard to make your stay the best. The cabin is on the Betsie River in Thompsonville, MI, 5 miles from Crystal Mountain Ski & Golf & Spa Resort. Within 30 min of Frankfort/Lk Michigan, Traverse City , Beulah/Crystal Lake, & approx 20 min from Interlochen Music Camp. Lakes & the Betsie River surround the area, making fishing and boating easily accessible. The BRLC is a nonsmoking property with a full house generator/new baby gear on sight.

Highly recommended for a unique, quiet get away.

Live like the Brady Bunch with authentic orange kitchen counters, with modern updates like a cozy gas stove, great knives and cookware, and high-quality linens. Private and fenced with deck and fire pit. Cabin is central to the Manistee National Forest, a short jaunt up to Sleeping Bear Dunes or Crystal Mountain, and the North Country Trail is just down the road. Ask me about fishing charters!

The Smiling Moose Lodge is perfect for your next family getaway. The house sleeps 16 in beds and has plenty of space for the whole family and then some. The ORV trail for snowmobiling starts at the end of the driveway and the Manistee River is 3 minutes away where you can enjoy all of nature by canoe, kayak (4 provided) or boat.

Lost lake pathway is just a mile and half down the road which is great for hiking and biking!
