We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

The Lookout Cabin

The lookout cabin is an architect designed cabin for two, nestled high on Bruny's east coast sea cliffs. Enjoy expansive water views over Storm Bay, Tasman Island and the Southern Ocean. Wake to the sounds of the local birdlife and revel in the majesty of resident sea eagles. Minimalism, simplicity and luxury combine to create an experience you will always remember, whether it be a romantic getaway, a relaxing retreat to recharge or a base to explore the magnificence of Bruny Island.

The Songbird | Waterfront Escape

Where the sea sings and time slows… On Bruny Island’s quiet edge, The Songbird - a 1960s shack, lovingly restored - offers a romantic hideaway just metres from the water’s edge. Linen-draped interiors, a flickering fire, and an antique outdoor bath invite you to pause. Easy day trips to Cockle Creek, the Tahune, Hobart, Bruny Island and Hartz Mountain National Park, Idyllic beaches, bushwalking, plentiful local produce and weekend Markets. Or kick back in front of our fire, while playing cards, board games or just reading from our library of books.

Created to inspire guests to disconnect from their everyday reality and surround themselves with a space in nature to take a deep breath. Many pieces within the cabins are handcrafted by local artists and furniture makers around the Huon Valley. Guests will be provided with local food and a bottle wine for the first night of your stay.

Welcome to Seaforth! A lovingly renovated fishing shack on 10 acres overlooking Macquarie Harbour. Accommodating up to 4 guests. This cozy yet comfortable shack features one queen-size and one king-size bed. The shack has been renovated with a mix of recycled, new, and natural materials. Two outdoor firepit areas to enjoy. There is an eclectic selection of books, records, and games to explore!

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
