Te Waihora Lodge is a lovely farmstead accomodation, there is Toby the friendly and ever hungry KuneKune Pig, the Sheep and the Turkeys all residing on 20 arce's of Lakeside Beauty. Picturesque Lake Ellesmere is across the road, with 50,000 birds at last count making it a bird watchers haven. The nearby villages boast outlets for local arts, crafts and antiques, and a fine swimming pool for the many hot summer days.

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has a gas cooker, bbq set, microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey.
