Kiwi Mountain Escape

Welcome to Kiwi Mountain Escape, a small working dry stock cattle farm. During your stay you can expect to see & or hear our animals and the odd farm activity, rural living at its finest. Our cozy, studio-style retreat is designed for comfort. The space includes a queen sized bed, & a bunk set with a double on the bottom & a single on top. you'll find a full kitchen & dining area, separate bathroom & covered outdoor space with table & seating. As we have big machines on our farm, adults only.

Stylish Black Cottage for two- Okoroire

Inside our spacious newly renovated Black Cottage, you have a small full kitchen with farmhouse sink, large fridge/freezer, gas cooktop, microwave, air fryer, and Nespresso. In the lounge area there’s a smart screen tv- Netflix . Through the slider barn door to a large bedroom with plush king bed, laden with luxury linen and a walk in wardrobe leaving you ample space,+ comfortable reading chair. Walk though to the walk in tile shower, handbasin and toilet- there is also a Laundry in your room.

"Punga Lodge" the Mountain Sanctuary

Punga Lodge is 20 mins SE of Cambridge 10 mins from Lake Karapiro, hosting everything from Rowing World Cups to Hydroplane racing, waterski comps and triathalons. It is 20 mins away from Hobbiton and the entrance to MEI Sanctuary. Being 1 hr drive from Raglan, Mt Maunganui, Taupo and Rotorua. We aim to provide clean and comfortable indoor outdoor living while enjoying beautiful views, peace and tranquility whilst relaxing in your own mountain hideaway with amazing stargazing opportunities.

The Shed

A private, modern, spacious 2 bedroom guesthouse only 3 kms from Tokoroa In a lovely rural setting. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and full kitchen facilities are available with quality equipment for guests to use. Location is only 55 kms from Taupo and Rotorua and only 30kms from the famous Putaruru Blue Spring walkway, one hour drive to Hamilton, 45 minute drive to Hobbiton and Mystery Creek. Cougar Park Mtn Bike track is only 5km away. Great central location in the Sth Waikato.

Quiet Gettaway

Tokoroa is an ideal location for travelers wanting to explore the central North Island. It is short driving distance to many great NZ attractions. The accommodation is located on the edge of a small and friendly rural town. Beautiful green Waikato country side with dairy farms are next to the reserve.

Holiday Bliss - Tirau

After 23 years of living in Paradise, Carmen and David (your hosts) are excited to be able to share it with you. This stunning guest house is situated on a beautiful semi-rural farm, in the heart of the Waikato. It boasts a warm, moody, and romantic ambience. One of the most special additions to this homestay is the fresh water cedar and stainless steel hot tub! We also provide a gourmet breakfast ready to be cooked.

Rural Hide-Away

You need to have a break on your way north or south? Rest up at our brand new self-contained unit in quiet, rural setting, just outside Tirau. Only 25 minutes to Hobbiton, 15 min. to amazing Waihou Blue Springs and 2 minutes to Tirau, with unique coffee shops and lovely boutique stores. We have just moved in next door ourselves, and are still finishing the landscaping around our lovely home. Come and repose!

Riverside Guest House

Camellia guesthouse

Large one bedroom guesthouse on 5 acres with over 300 camellia trees and established gardens located a few minutes south of Tokoroa township. 35 minute drive to Rotorua, 50 minutes to Taupo or Cambridge. A central Waikato location. Animals on the property include a couple of cows, a small flock of sheep (lambs in spring) and small dog.
