Inside our spacious newly renovated Black Cottage, you have a small full kitchen with farmhouse sink, large fridge/freezer, gas cooktop, microwave, air fryer, and Nespresso. In the lounge area there’s a smart screen tv- Netflix . Through the slider barn door to a large bedroom with plush king bed, laden with luxury linen and a walk in wardrobe leaving you ample space,+ comfortable reading chair. Walk though to the walk in tile shower, handbasin and toilet- there is also a Laundry in your room.

Soak Under the Stars | Quiet Country Escape

Escape to Woodlands Cottage, nestled in peaceful countryside just 20 minutes from Rotorua and 45 minutes from Hobbiton. Enjoy native bush, farmland views, and spot sheep or cattle nearby. Relax in the outdoor vintage clawfoot bath under the stars. The garden, full of native trees, attracts birds and features a tranquil fish pond. Plenty of parking space for large vehicles, boats or trailers. A perfect rural retreat to unwind. Note: Limited cell phone coverage enhances the off-grid charm.

Pine Hill Cottage

If you're looking for a stay in the countryside, but still within an hour of the main centres of Rotorua, Taupo, Hamilton and Tauranga, this is the place for you. Located 7kms off SH1 this cottage is on a cattle and sheep farm. Its the perfect place for a quiet retreat away from the city and a great base for those wanting to stay central in the South Waikato where they can explore all the cycling and walking trails, lakes, rivers and adventure activities in the area.

The Haven

As soon as you exit your vehicle you will be met with the beautiful sound of rushing water. The Haven isn't just accomodation, it is the destination. The quaint 50s brick house is set on nearly 10000m2 of land to explore and separate you from neighbors. Meander down to the glorious natural spring, its water coursed through a 100 year old aqueduct. Beautiful trees and miles of farmland help shield you from the outside world, providing an oasis of calm and tranquility.

The Pink House

This lovely small cottage originally came into my family as a retirment home for my (then) 90 year old mother, Olive. She loved the place except for its original colour and so promptly painted it Pink. The house has many of her touches still in it, such as the cross stitch pictures framed on the walls. Nana Olive was well known through Tokoroa for her hospitality and warm welcome she offered at the Pink House, and we are delighted to continue this tradition.

This is a modern well appointed farmhouse in the countryside with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The house is suitable to be used for a base to visit nearby bustling tourist attractions (e. g. Taupo, Rotorua, Waitomo, Hobbiton,Tauranga, Hamilton); and the house gives you a restful and relaxing home away from home. When a guest makes a booking I move out so in the pantry there are the basics which you are free to use.
