Upstairs is the master bedroom furnished with a queen bed. It should be noted that the property is historic and the staircase to the bedroom is steep - please see the listing photos in case this is an issue. The bedroom is fitted with a split-system air conditioner for heating and cooling, whilst downstairs is heated with a wood-heater. The terrace comes with 1 x off-street car park for guests to use. Taxis and Uber are also reliable in Hobart and will cost under $10 into the CBD/Salamanca and wharf precinct.

Laneway hideaway

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

Mountain View Guest House

Our Guest home is nestled in the foothills of Mount Wellington and is only minutes to the CBD by bus . The free standing house is one bedroom with a queen bed and has a double sofa inner spring bed in the living room, a spare single mattress bed is also available for extra people. Although the house can accommodate 5 people, the house is quite small and is not really suitable for 5 adults if you need lots of space, Families with kids will manage OK just don't expect heaps of extra space.
