Walking around the beautiful grounds, carp fishing or boating on the lake, enjoying a game of tennis, boules and table tennis, or discovering miles of safe cycle paths around the Cotswold Lakes area. The children could be playing on the swings, zip wire and climbing frame in their own safe play area or playing giant chequers. Don’t imagine, book it!

On the lake

This is a lovely base in the Cotswolds sitting on the lake, with a south facing aspect. Its family-friendly with plenty of activities in the area including horse riding, walks, gym, golf and even a beach. It is a great getaway for anyone, from couples, solo adventurers, and obviously families (with kids). There are all the essentials indoors from well equipped kitchen with dishwasher to high speed broadband. Oxford, Bath, Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham are all within an hours drive.

Perfectly located for RIAT, being walking distance from the Green Entry Point, The Old Bakery At The Grange is an ideal cottage for exploring all that the Cotswolds has to offer whatever the season. We are a few minutes’ walk away from The Old Spotted Cow pub. The cottage is full of country character and the interiors reflect our love of travel. Due to the character features of the cottage, it is unsuitable for very young toddlers and those unsteady on their feet.
