Enjoy sitting on the wraparound porch, BBQing in the backyard, and cozying up by the stone fireplace. You can also join us at the barn to meet our animals! Set on 2200 acres in its own valley with California oak trees and golden hills, the Bar SZ Ranch offers a unique country experience.

Visit with our alpacas, horses, giant tortoises, goats, sheep, donkey and more! Wake up to sunshine, a rooster crowing and the donkey braying for breakfast! (Due to the nature of our farm we have a strict "No Pets" policy).

Barlocker's Rustling Oaks Ranch - The Studio

The ranch is close to Monterey Bay Aquarium, California Rodeo Salinas, Pinnacles National Monument, John Steinbeck's Museum and Victorian House, and the Laguna Seca Raceway. The ranch studio apartment includes two twin beds, a full bath, and half kitchen. Pets are welcome upon pre-approval from the on-site manager. No pets are to be left unattended. There is a pet fee $25 per night (that will be collected upon arrival). We offer a 12x12 dog kennel. Gardeners come early TUESDAY MORNINGS

The bed sheets, pillow and mattress protectors and blanket are changed after each stay. The bath towels are warm. ZEN!
