The Old Barn, Buxton - A Dream Come True

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. It is now a boutique property set near the common, ideally situated to explore the Peak District yet just a short walk into the town centre.

17th Century Peak District Cottage

Mount Pleasant Cottage was built in the 1600s and is the oldest residential property in the picturesque village of Monyash. This peaceful Peak District getaway is full of character including original oak beams, a wood-burning stove and stunning views of the surrounding countryside as well as a library of fascinating books from around the world. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the Bulls Head pub and Old Smithy cafe. The cottage lies at the beginning of the stunning Lathkill Dale walk.

The Devonshire suite is a stunning apartment with many original features and luxury touches through out. The lounge dinner offers sumptuous seating including a sofa bed for extra guests if requested. A beautiful kitchen with views over the Buxton crescent offering everything needed for your stay, having the Buxton Opera House, Pavilion Gardens and the Devonshire Dome directly outside there is no better location Surrounded by French, Italian, Thai and many more fabulous restaurants and bars.

Delightful Studio House-superb location!

Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. Non smoking. *We do not have a hob or oven* EV Charger (added cost). Sorry no pets.

1 double bedroom self contained flat with en suite shower room, a well equipped kitchen with a spacious and light living room. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits. The property is located in a quiet residential area with a green space behind. About 10 mins walk from the town centre. There is parking in front of the property and plenty of accessible on road parking to the rear. We operate a simple self check in system where the guest will be given a key code to access the property.

A peaceful but centrally-located cottage close to Pubs, shops and Restaurants. Its cosy, tasteful decor makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. Its one of the finest locations in the Peak district, with an abundance of walks and attractions right on your doorstep. This fabulous dwelling is great for couples wanting a romantic break or for two couples or friends who want to escape to the peaks for some fun and relaxation. Dogs welcome. Ample parking directly adjacent.

Set in an outstanding location with dramatic countryside views & overlooking Mam Tour, the cottage is a cosy ebode complete with log burner. Whether you are coming to see a show in the famous Buxton Opera House or to simply enjoy the countryside & fresh air then Hope Cottage is in a great location for it all, located half way between Buxton & The Hope Valley

Converted chapel in Peak village near Buxton

Converted 1870s chapel. Renovated in August 2021. Well placed for trips into the Peak District or to Buxton; walking, climbing, and biking all close to hand . Outside is a large drive with CCTV and private seating area. Parking for 2 cars. Bicycle storage. Please read house rules before booking. We live at the rear in the adjoining church hall. Quiet guests appreciated.
