A welcoming newly renovated one bedroom apartment in the legendary skitown, Olafsfjordur. It has all you would need after a long day of skiing, sightseeing or whatever you are interested in doing in the beautiful North-Iceland. Take a dip in the hot tub or just relax on the couch in front of the TV. A nice swimming pool is only 250 meters away, with water slides, hot tubs, sauna, and a gym. Nordic ski tracks are just 25 meters away and two famous ski areas are 15 minutes drive in each direction.

Smiðjan, the little old house by the sea

'Smiðjan' the Smithy has been lovingly restored focusing on original aesthetics and comfort. It is situated at the edge of a small industrial area where you can enjoy absolute privacy and not worry about neighbours. The large attic windows provide a perfect platform to view the northern lights and stunning views. Smiðjan is almost a 100 year old house on the shores of the little fishing village Dalvík in the north, with views of spectacular mountains and valleys where hiking is at your doorstep

Located at the entrance of picturesque Svarfaðardalur valley, in stunning surroundings between mountains and sea, this newly renovated studio-flat is the perfect place for outdoor and nature lovers. Ideally situated just outside the village of Dalvik, within 5-15 min. walking distance to all services such as supermarket, wine-shop, swimming-pool, health centre, pharmacy, cafés and retaurants, museum, culture house… Great hiking and cross-country skiing possibilities just outside the door!

Sela Retreat - Main House

This is a listing for the ground floor in the old house. Owners live on the first floor. There are 3 rooms. One double room with a couch and a view of the sea. One double room and one single. So we can house up to 6 people there. There is a bathroom with washing machine. Kitchen is shared with the rooms in the stables. In the stables we have 6 double rooms two bathrooms and two kitchens and can house 12 people there. If you rent one room expect to share bathroom with others.

Cottage in a beautiful valley

This nice cottage is situated in the middle of a beautiful valley, with no neighbors disturbing you. You have a sea view to the north. A stream with waterfalls and rapids down through the valley. The hut is also a good base for skitouring and moutain hiking (many trails in the area) and horse riding. We offer horse riding for additonal fee. We can ride a calm tour with beginners or a bit faster with more experienced riders. Horse riding is mostly available from May till September.

The apartment is on lower floor. Short to the grocery store, cafe Klara , Höllin restaurant, and the beautiful water inside the town, the harbor is right by, good hiking trails, golf course, swimming pool and the beautiful mountains, great winter ski area. It is possible to rent jet skis with guidance to see mountains from the see with Farytale at see,in Ólafsfjörður. Short for whale watching in Dalvík or Hauganes. 4 beds 90x200 .

The apartment is located by the roots of the mountain and perfect for a sight seeing hike as it's just a couple of steps to get to a path behind the house that leads to the mountain and other outdoorsy areas. Short distance to the store, the pool, the beach etc. Only 30 minutes away from Akureyri.
