A private room at the countryside in The north!

This is a lovely room and for three people. You can share a big living room and kitchen with others and a beautiful bathroom as well. Everything is newly renovated. In the summertime there is a quiet nice garden you can walk into from the livingroom. From the kitchen window you can watch the sheep eat their hey because the sheephouse is attached to our house.! The whole house with the three rooms, can be rented for one family and friends if wanted. There is a wonderful view from the house .

Hegranes guesthouse on a farm

We would like to welcome you to come and stay in our lovely guesthouse at our farm in the heart of Skagafjordur. Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

Room at a horse farm, Flugumýri 2

Lightly decorated and with a view over endless green fields, where you can enjoy the midnight sun or watch the northern lights. This private bedroom at our Horse Farm "Litlibær", consists of a double bed and all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen are shared with another room. Litlibær is situated on our farmland where horses run freely behind fences all around. We frequently have Horse Shows and are guest welcome to visit our Trophy House.

Icelandhorsetours - Helluland

Our guesthouse is new build in 2016. There are three privat rooms and a shared kitchen and a shared bathroom, also there is the possibility to be together. At our farm we offer you to take a look at our animals and also we offer horse riding tours. Just 9km from our farm is the city Sauðárkrókur where you can do nice things and go for example to have dinner. Also there a lot of other possibilities what you can do in our area like visiting a natural hot pot or a turf house as much more :)

Lýtingsstaðir Cosy Cottage- peaceful countryside

Wooden cottage, perfect for a stay in a peaceful environment. Suits for couples and families with children. Kitchen and private facilities. The cottage has a bunkbed with double bed on the lower level and single on the upper level. A sofa sleeps 2 persons. A set of linen and towels is included in the price. Horseback riding available on the farm. THE OLD STABLE - a turf house exhibition on the farm, free access for our guests. Beautiful location, no light pollution, 20 km from road #1.

Sela Retreat - Main House

This is a listing for the ground floor in the old house. Owners live on the first floor. There are 3 rooms. One double room with a couch and a view of the sea. One double room and one single. So we can house up to 6 people there. There is a bathroom with washing machine. Kitchen is shared with the rooms in the stables. In the stables we have 6 double rooms two bathrooms and two kitchens and can house 12 people there. If you rent one room expect to share bathroom with others.

Guests are invited to use a shared living room and a spacious dining room, as well as the kitchen. Free parking is available. Enjoy the views, the calm and the fresh air at our place! On the farm there is the possibility to book riding tours.

Ski/hiking and birdwatching paradise

Five double rooms located in newly renovated basement at an old Icelandic family farm, Tjörn. There is a communal toilet, shower and sauna, located in the hallway. There is also a communal cooking/sitting area in the extension of the farmhouse. This listing is suitable for large families and groups of 10 people. Two rooms have queen size beds, suitable for couples and three rooms include two single beds each.

We are in the heart of Skagafjörður, and Sauðárkrókur is just ten or twelve minutes away by car. All year round, lodging is accepted. The five rooms in the main house "Gulluhús" share a bathroom. Four of the rooms are on the upper floor, one on the ground floor, and the restrooms are located on the ground floor. The old farmhouse has been converted into five spacious bedrooms, each with its bathroom.

Wooden summer house located in the countryside, just next to the main house on our farm. Surrounded by mountains in a quiet area. The house is suitable for 4 people. My horses are around the farm, you're more than welcome to say hello to them. I also have horse rental which I am offering from one hour up to a daytrip.
