The Bird's Nest - Cabin by the River

Located on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, the Bird’s Nest is a brand new, custom built 800 square foot cabin featuring an open loft with king bed and skylights, steam shower, heated bathroom floor, and gas fireplace. Exterior amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit table, fire pit by the river, and private river access in a peaceful, wooded setting. Kayaks/tubes are available to use to float down the river with the unique ability to park/exit on the hosts’ property.

Moonflower Cottage is a historical farmhouse nestled on two rolling acres in Virginia's wine country. Visit the area's top vineyards, dining, and antique shops. Float down the Shenandoah River. Cap your day sipping cabernet as the sun sets and the cottage blooms like the moonflowers that grow wildly. Bathe in the warm glow of string lights under the grapevine arbor or enjoy a relaxing soak in the spa. Young or old, you are sure to find the vintage that you are looking for at Moonflower Cottage.

Welcome to the Hidden Hive!

The Hidden Hive is located on beautiful, tranquil farmland, within a few minutes of Loudoun County’s premiere wineries and breweries. Rest your head here after a hard day’s hike on the Appalachian Trail or a celebratory evening at a Bluemont wedding. We are a hobby farm and own chickens, goats, dogs, and barn kitties. Wildlife such as deer can be seen, and owls heard here at night. You may see cyclists or horseback riders pass along our historic Civil War roads. We can’t wait to host you!

This gorgeous chalet perched on a high hill is surrounded with trees and features an enormous wrap-around deck, HOT TUB, wood-burning fireplace, huge smart TVs and a GAME ROOM for adults and kids with every fun game you can imagine- pool, ping pong, PacMan video arcades, darts and more. Each bed is new and there are king beds and trundle beds to accommodate visitors of all ages. Please note there is an extra charge of $75 for first dog, $25/ea for 2nd/3rd (2nd/3rd dog fees charged later).

Creekside Retreat at the Jewel Vinsota

Relax in a quiet, curated, pet-friendly art exhibit. Live with paintings & sculptures that are for sale. This garden apartment is tucked into a hillside above a creek, along the Jewel Vinsota Sculpture Trail. Your host/gallery curators live upstairs. The “Artist’s Guesthouse” is next door. The private entrance is down a stone-stepped path. Perfect for 2 w/ the queen bed but room for 3 w/ the living room futon. Fully equipped kitchen. Private charcoal grill and fire pit next to the creek.

Skyhorse Retreat Guest House

The hot tub is currently broken, and a new one has been ordered. We expect delivery by mid Febuary. In the middle of VA wine country and only minutes to three Appalachian Trail trailheads. Located 45 miles west of Washington D.C., on a 10-acre property on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Private guesthouse (built Jan 2020) with a large deck overlooking trees. The Guest House sleeps 4, has a full kitchen, and access to a Hot Tub at the main house. Breakfast items and snacks included.

Our house is located about 65 miles West of Washington D.C. if you're looking for a day trip to the big city or just sit back and relax right here in our small town.
