It was built so that the ladies of the Consford family could cook on hot summer days without heating up their homes. The canning kitchen has been added on to and changed into a barndominium style cabin. Relax outside on the porch with a hot cup of coffee or inside in front of the tv. The Consford family looks forward to hosting you in this beautiful cabin in the pineywoods.

Toledo Bend Lake, one of the premier bass fishing lakes in the country, and we have the best crappie fishing right below our marina just steps away.

We are 60 miles from Shreveport and 40 miles from Nacogdoches. Our property is gated and includes a private boat dock, & additional fire pit and seating near the water. This unique A frame cabin is nestled on the lakefront- northern part of Toledo Bend, surrounded by mature trees that creates breathtaking landscape. From the patio, you are able to watch eagles landing and souring through beautiful sunsets. Cabin has been updated with new A/C, new flooring and furniture. Come relax at this quiet, clean cabin with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a loft overlooking a beautiful view of Toledo Lake. Due to nature surrounding, internet is average speed.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. It is located 12 miles from Toledo Bend Reservoir. The lake has an area of 185,000 acres and is known for its large mouth bass fishing. The cottage is on 42 acres and there is plenty of space for your bass boat .Recently we added rv electric and water hook up. We also have a historic building on-site that was once a drug store and is now being used to make outdoor pillows, aprons, and more.
