Like many Alabama girls, I've always loved the water. When I found this little mobile home community on Miflin Creek, I knew I'd found something special- a peaceful place to kayak,bird watch,fish, and enjoy the beauty of the creek. Today, I'm grateful to share it with my guests. Miflin Creek flows into Wolf Bay and the Gulf, yet you're only 8 minutes from OWA, close to great restaurants, and a short drive to Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. I hope you'll love this place as much as I do.

The Bunkhouse at Top Hat Equestrian

Relax in this newly refurbished “Bunkhouse” located on a six acre horse farm. Walk the property, pet the horses or simply relax in this cozy retreat - hot tub included! An EV Type 2 charger is available. Guests can come as they are or bring their horse(s) and rent a pasture or stall for an additional fee. Owner lives on site in a separate building. Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

Edna’s Barn

Experience country charm in addition to convenient location- just 1.1 mile off interstate 10! Grocery stores and your favorite restaurants are also close by but you’ll get a good nights rest in this quiet neighborhood. It’s around 35 minutes drive to beaches depending on traffic. The barn was built in the eighties and housed chickens, rabbits and a cow but was repurposed as a dwelling in 2004. Completely modernized in 2022, you can enjoy a unique space with all the comforts of home!
