The Canal Room sits upstairs within Ratho Park Steading: a stunning Scottish courtyard stable (built 1826; converted 2021). It borders Ratho Park Golf club (area of outstanding beauty), a walk from the heart of Ratho village, 8miles from Edinburgh centre. The large room is stylishly furnished (super king size bed), tv/wifi, and heated through ground source. The property has off-road parking with use of/ views into a landscaped garden/canal. Breakfast is a cold self-served buffet in the 'Den'.

The picturesque village of Town Yetholm is an ideal base to explore the Borders: 200m from St Cuthberts Way; 1km from the Pennine Way; 24 miles from Lindesfarne. The Mill, formerly the sawmill for Borthwick Hall, is a charming property built in the 1800s. The conversion of the building was completed in 2003 and is now a wonderful family home. My husband, Steve, and I moved up to Scotland from London in December 2017 and absolutely love it up here. With lovely people and beautiful open spaces, it’s the perfect place for us to relax and raise our kids. We love having friends and family visit and look forward to offering our space to guests as well.

Recently completely renovated, garden is still on going this picturesque cottage in Coldingham offers you a double bedroom and private bathroom plus continental breakfast. You will be welcomed by Corporal Collin a very friendly Jack Russell Terrier, to a warm and sunny room with it's own large bathroom. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach and the costal path, with all the wonderful scenery and walks, an abbey, plus a beautiful sandy beach, marine reserve and nearby fishing harbour town.

We're 20 minutes' drive from Kielder and the observatory, and Newcastleton, in a very rural setting amongst fields, woods, hills and rivers. Dogs welcome. We offer a continental breakfast, and you're welcome to use the kitchen to cook a light evening meal. We have two double rooms - check our other listing too if there's more than two of you.
