Stationmaster's Cottage

A detached Victorian stone cottage in the shadow of Pickering Castle and overlooking North York Moors Railway station, this characterful property with real fire is only 3 minutes walk away from town centre amenities, the castle and a ten minute walk to the start of the Tabular Hills way and gateway to the North York Moors National Park. Free parking is provided in the Platform 3 Car Park diagonally opposite the property 70 yards away (dashboard pass provided). Please note: steep stepped access.

Relax in a brand new luxury hot tub in our perfectly located holiday home. From Seaside Escapes it is just a 5 min walk to Peasholm Park and just a 10 min walk to the beach and the town centre. Nearby attractions in walking distance include the Open-Air Theatre, the Alpamare Water Park and numerous lovely restaurants and cafes. Our home is perfect for a couples getaway or a family visit in sunny Scarborough with lots of free parking outside the property. Free parking scratch cards provided!

Skylark Cottage

A fantastic Grade II listed fisherman’s cottage situated close to the famous Magpie Cafe, Whitby harbour and Whitby’s bustling town centre with all its appeal. Dating back to the 18th century, this wonderful cottage offers a homely feel with exposed beams and quirky traditional features adding to its charming character. Sandside Retreat

Sandside Retreat is situated in the heart of Whitby’s Old Town, at the foot of the iconic 199 steps leading to the Abbey. ; whilst tucked away for peace and quiet. Just a stone’s throw away from Tate Hill Sands, harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. Sleeping up to 3 guests, it features a cosy living room with separate kitchen/diner. There is a private patio which overlooks the sea towards the East Pier. Unlike many cottages to the East Side, there are no steps leading up to the cottage.

Relax and unwind in the newly refurbished one bed Irishman's Cottage. The cottage retains many old features and is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. The living space is open plan with ample space for a couples retreat or family break away. In the summer months dine al fresco and enjoy a BBQ on the private patio besides the wood burning hot tub. A short walk away is our private lake, where you might catch site of a resting deer or hare!

Positioned on a pedestrian road, wake up to the sound of birds or the steam railway. Cosy up to the log burner or sit out in the evening sun, on our west facing decking overlooking the railway. A 1 minute walk to forest walks and Pickering castle, or a 2 minute walk to the town centre; you couldn’t be more perfectly located. Pickering has the charm of a rural North Yorkshire town with all the amenities you need for a relaxing break or a family centred vacation.

Hawthorn Cottage - delightful and welcoming

Hawthorn Cottage is a tastefully decorated cottage on a working farm in the small village of High Hawsker, mid-way between the quaint and beautiful Robin Hood's Bay and the bustling fishing town of Whitby with its historic abbey. This is the perfect spot for exploring the natural and stunning beauty of the North York Moors and the Yorkshire coastline, with the Cleveland Way coastal path and Whitby to Scarborough cycle path (Cinder Track) passing close by.

Summerfield bungalow is located just outside the small village of Hawsker, midway between Whitby and Robin Hood’s bay. The bungalow is detached, not overlooked and is spacious, bright and has stunning views from every window. From the front you can see down to Whitby Abbey and harbour, from the side there’s a lovely view of All Saints church and from the rear there are uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire countryside.
