Situated at the start of the Wasdale and Eskdale we are perfect for anyone wishing to climb Scafell or just enjoy the two stunning valleys. Brave drivers and cyclists may wish to tackle Hardnott pass at the top end of Eskdale. Ravensglass village and beaches a short walk away, also set on the Fell above the cottage is the amazing Muncaster Castle and Owl centre. Children and Pet friendly 🐾👍🏼

Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Beds are made with linen and throws. Supper cozy

High Eskholme is a detached cottage sitting in the heart of Eskdale estate set within the valley of Eskdale in the western Lake District, an area of outstanding natural beauty . On stepping out of the front door, there are walks for all abilities, over Muncaster Fell, a flat walk through woodland or walks along the river Esk. For the more ambitious, Scafell pike and the Wasdale Valley are just a car ride away, or Perhaps you would like to play the stunning 18 hole golf course, or fish the Esk.

Beyond the monumental mountains, you'll find the breathtaking Cumbrian Coast only 15 minutes away, with beaches and Seascale, St Bees and others winding north.

This traditional workers cottage in Eskdale green gives you a wonderfully cosy retreat and an ideal base for exploring. The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys.
