Our yurt is popular for adventurous travelers who like to stay in a unique outdoor environment. We believe that a great camping experience should be comfortable and easy going. During your stay at River Park Resort you will see lots of adventurous people floating by our spot and perhaps you'll get inspired to join them! If you choose to relax in our beautiful riverside setting you'll have a amazing time as well. There are many restaurants and bars which are an easy walk from our resort.

Exotic getaway in Sobrante hills

This is Mongolian traditional yurt when we married 40 years ago, our parents built it for us. It is located in our backyard about 90 feet from the street on the deck under pine trees. Path to the yurt has 12 steps and 15 degree up on some part of the deck. We have beautifully decorated, half around, eclectic full bathroom outside the yurt just 2 steps away. Yurt has low front door and low beds and seats. No tv, no wifi. It is out of your comfort zone! No human contact, self check in.

Serenity Yurt at Venture Retreat Center, Pescadero

Surround yourself with nature when staying at our Serenity Yurt, which is tucked in a little clearing on 20 wooded acres. It features a gorgeous skylight, many windows & beautiful lighting. Cozy to gather, but room to spread out. Great energy! Includes gas fireplace, mini-fridges, microwave, bottled water, and up to six padded cots. And yet town is only a 5 minute drive, allowing access to anything you might need during your stay. We consider our land a sacred, healing place. Before we built on this property we gave special homage to the Native peoples, and asked for blessings from the spirits to live here. We have discovered grinding rocks, shards of Chinese pottery, and ancient fire pits on the land.
