Play golden oldies on an upright piano in a home filled with antique furniture, folk art, and lots of books and games. The kitchen and bathroom also retain their vintage vibe. A drop leaf desk and 100 mbps Wi-Fi provide a comfortable working space. Come in the spring or summer to see the garden in full bloom! (Photos included here do not do it justice...) The dappled shade of a grape covered pergola is a wonderful place for lunch. The house has two bedrooms that look out on the gardens. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has a double bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. Water in the house is delicious, purified well water. A 55" tv is in one of the bedrooms (disguised by a pull-down map). It has Roku but no cable. Enjoy lots of games and books to read, a piano in the living room and access to high speed internet and WiFi. Wander in the gardens or orchard in the back. Relax or dine under the shady grape arbor. The house is located in apple country, outside the small town of Sebastopol. It's very easy to find in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood across the street from a Christmas tree farm. Apple orchards and vineyards are within walking distance. The quaint town of Graton is half a mile away. It has an art gallery operated by local artists, an antique store and a variety of restaurants including the Underwood Bar and Bistro, rated as "number 4 of America's 50 Most Amazing Wine Experiences by the Food and Wine Magazine." Graton Ridge Cellars, FEATURED IN JULY 2014 ISSUE OF SUNSET MAGAZINE and 0.6 miles from the house! Red Car Wine Company, 0.3 miles away. Iron Horse Vineyards also featured in July 2014 issue of Sunset Magazine and 3.6 miles from the house! Other recommended wineries in Sebastopol include: Lynmar Iron Horse Taft Street Cahill Dutton-Goldfield (one third mile from house) Scherrer Freeman Marimar. Enjoy several hiking trails close by, or drive on scenic country roads directly from the house to a variety of attractions. There is a gorgeous half-hour drive through the town of Occidental to the ocean. The Russian River Steelhead Beach is 5.6 miles away. Drive ten minutes farther to visit Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve where you can walk through a towering forest of trees that are hundreds of years old. Historic Healdsburg, with its central plaza, shops, restaurants and wineries is also a scenic 25 minute drive away. The 9-hole Sebastopol Golf Course is a little over a mile away. There is a variety of grocery stores in Sebastopol. My favorite is Andy's, a fruit and vegetable stand that also carries other food. It takes 3 minutes to drive there. This area was not impacted by the fires.

Bring the past back to life in this updated historical residence. The house features original architecture details, a neutral color scheme, contemporary and antique furnishings, contrasting textures and patterns, and an outdoor dining area. Parties are not allowed. This is a beautiful Victorian house built in 1908, with delightful vintage details throughout, and recently luxurious upgrades from top to bottom. It is decorated with French Country theme. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and welcoming. House is equipped with high speed internet (free wifi), flat screen TV, and wash/dryer. Guests will have access to the entire house and the garden. I am a very easy going person. Every guest will be respected and be cared for during their stay. Absolutely no problem if you break a dish, a glass, or accidentally scratch a table or spill something on the carpet. Things are meant to be used and guests should live freely during their visit. I live in Santa Clara, 45mins south of Alameda. Not onsite most days, but always available by phone or text, and will give guests immediate attention. My kind neighbors Dean and Stacy offered to help in emergency situations. My grown up son, Sean (25), lives half miles away from the Airbnb is able to help as well. The home is in a charming neighborhood where people are very friendly and welcoming. It is walking distance to Webster Street, filled with restaurant and shops, and a few minutes walk to the Crown Beach with miles of trails and stunning views. The Victorian house is convenient and central located, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, 7 miles to Oakland International airport, 4 miles to Coliseum, Oracle Arena. Going to San Francisco, 12 miles by land, you have the options of taking the ferries, Bart (Lake Merritt Station) and bus AC Transit Route O (Santa Clara/9th bus stop, a few minutes walk) https://sfbaytransit.org/actransit/route/O Party is not allowed and quiet time is 9:30pm.

Public transportation and UBER/LYFT are so easy that guests rarely rent a car! The home is on 3rd floor no elevators, so it may be difficult for the elderly or disabled. Private apartment located in the heart of Downtown Santa Cruz. Set back from the street with private entrance and bathroom. High, pine ceilings, natural light, and garden views. The beach is a few blocks in one direction and downtown cafes, restaurants, and shops around the corner. The apartment is best suited for two and guests can enjoy the sunny backyard as well. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and cozy bedding. The TV room has a pull out sofa (sleeps one) and the sitting room has a daybed (sleeps one). The kitchen is well appointed for cooking or just enjoying a nice cup of coffee or tea. Please contact host if your group is over two. Special arrangements will need to be made and are subject to availability. Private entrance, access to the backyard. My schedule rarely allows me to meet guests when they arrive. But the lock box and code allows guests to arrive at whatever time is convenient for them. I am always available through Airbnb, phone, text or email. The property is located in a vibrant neighborhood full of students and artists. The home is perfectly situated to explore downtown or take a 10-minute walk to the beach to discover famous surf spots. Bus stop going up to the University of California Santa Cruz is one block away. Metro hub with all buses is a 3 minute walk from the studio. Cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, etc. are all within a few blocks proximity. Common walls allow sound to travel; practice being reasonably quiet in order for all guests to feel comfortable.
