The River Room

This peaceful King Room with a private bath is located on the first floor & has everything you need for your trip! The old beams across the ceiling and huge pine floor boards make this room extra special, not to mention the propane fireplace & stunning views of The Machias River! Antique decor with a touch of Maine in the room help to capture that 1830’s farmhouse vibe. The room is stocked with coffee, linens, & soaps, along with a tray of goodies ready for your arrival! Harbour Cabin sits in a peaceful, leafy clearing just steps from the forest. The building is shared by a wall with Campobello Cabin on the opposite side, but each offers complete privacy with its own entrance and private bathroom. The queen size bed is complimented by a small seating area. The private bathroom includes a bathtub/shower. The room is air conditioned with a smart TV, Keurig coffee station, and WiFi. There is parking in front of the cabin.

Quite, clean, and the best price in town. These rooms tend to be on the smaller size, and do have SMALL bathrooms. If you are looking for a larger space, look for our Suite Airbnb listing, or book direct though the hotel.

This small, first floor waterfront room is in our historic Main House Inn, and has a large picture window facing the harbor and mountains of Mount Desert Island! Perfect for those who will be spending more time hiking and on the beach It has a queen bed with a private bathroom with tub/shower combination. No A/C, fans provided.
