Located in the village of Bearsted in the heart of Kent. Knocklofty has recently been refurbished to a high standard, with a 'boutique hotel' feel in an elegant, contemporary Scandinavian style.
Knocklofty is a tall elegant building with original sash windows giving a light and calm feel to each room.
The interior is an eclectic mix of vintage and modern, and offers a relaxing hideaway for up to four people, with exclusive use of a cedar wood Jacuzzi Hot Tub in the garden. Great during the day, but even better at night to star gaze while you soak.
To make her extra cosy, we re-style Knocklofty regularly and also for Christmas and Valentines day. If you are celebrating a special occasion, let us know, and we will dress her up in her ‘Sunday best' for you.

Located in the heart of Kent, close to the M20 motorway there are many options on ‘things to do'. Perfectly located for weddings and celebrations at the award winning Orangery in Maidstone, why not make a holiday out of your stay?
Suggested Day trips include the award winning Leeds castle with beautiful grounds, Segway tours and an adventure playground in the trees. While a 40-60 minutes drive will take you to the many beautiful historic towns of Kent including Tenterden, Canterbury and Tunbridge Wells, as well as the beautiful Kent coast line and historic Dover, Hythe, Whitstable as well as the EuroTunnel into France.
Shopping - there is a large shopping outlet in Ashford, about 20 minutes away, or one of Europe's largest shopping centres, Bluewater, is 20 minutes in the direction of London.
Walking & Hiking – The 150 mile North Downs way is a 15 minute walk away and offers the chance to hike part of the route that pilgrims walked between London and Canterbury.
Food and drink – there are three restaurants within a 5 minute walk on Bearsted Green, these are; The Oak on the Green, The Fish on the Green and The White Horse. They offer a good mix of food and drink, or you can order in a takeaway from the best India restaurant in the village at The Rose Inn.
Wine – Kent continues to build it's reputation in wine production, particularly sparkling wines, a trip to Vineyards in nearby Staplehurst or Tenterden is highly recommended.
