We invite you to stay in our Gatlinburg cabin. Designed with efficiency in mind, and all the modern conveniences. Less than five miles to downtown Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Ober Gatlinburg, and the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community.
We aren't in a super-secluded-yet-5-minutes-from-everything location (spoiler alert: no cabin is.) This property isn’t full of the most luxurious linens or expensive decor. It doesn’t have sweeping views of the mountain majesties.
The good news is, this unit is PERFECT for the right people. We designed our cabins to be your home away from home, because they are OUR home away from home. Cozy, comfortable, with everything you need to make great memories in the Smokies.
Take the kitchen, for instance. It's not big and grand, but we give you multiple ways to make a cup of coffee in the morning, and we provide coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for you! You want it on the deck, in a mug, starting your morning slowly? We got you. In a travel mug, hustling to the car to catch the sunrise at Cades Cove? We can do that too. Icing it down to perk you up on the way to Dollywood in the heat of the summer? Then your cup will need a lid and a straw and we've got that too!
Kitchen appliances include waffle iron, Crock Pot, blender, mixer, toaster, rice cooker, electric water kettle. There are plates and bowls in both ceramic and plastic, glasses and plastic cups. Plenty of silverware and cooking utensils; there are even ice packs for the cooler in the freezer...and there's a cooler here too! We provide the dish soap, dishwasher detergent, dish towels, paper towels. If you're used to a Gatlinburg vacation rental that has only the bare minimum, our place will be a treat!
50 inch electric fireplace means you don't have to mess with wood or gas. It is run by remote control and puts out heat, or just gives great ambiance!
Start your morning with some stretching or yoga on the patio; we provide the yoga mat. If you're going hiking, grab the backpack for snacks and the hiking poles for stability...or just to make you look legit. Fill up the Nalgene bottles from REI before you go, put a couple of sandwiches in the cooler, and get a roast in the Crock Pot so dinner is ready when you return. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is less than 5 miles away!
If you’re up for some family fun, Ober Gatlinburg is within 5 miles, and we’re even closer to the Arts & Crafts Community and Downtown Gatlinburg. Dollywood and Splash Country are 12 miles away. Experience it all knowing that the hot tub is waiting for you back at the cabin to help you recharge when the day’s adventures end.
Weather outside not so great? Pop some popcorn in the microwave and settle in for some board games or curl up under a throw blanket and watch a movie or read a book. We've got everything you need to stay entertained while Ma Nature takes her frustrations out on the rest of the world. The hot tub is under a covered deck, so even if it's raining, you can relax outside!
Feeling social? There’s a fire pit that is shared with the cabin next door, so you can meet your neighbors and have a conversation over some roasted marshmallows. We provide the roasting sticks too!
Feeling romantic? Pour a couple of glasses of wine and lounge in the hot tub with that special someone or sit in the rocking chairs and chat all night. Twinkle lights overhead help make the scene perfectly relaxing.
The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and plenty of towels.
Finally, when it gets late, you’ll have plenty of room to stretch out on the king size bed. The sofa pulls out into a bed so there’s room for four. There are lots of fluffy pillows and warm blankets to keep everyone comfy and cozy all night long. You deserve a good night’s sleep.
If you have more people traveling with you, or you want to spread out, our other Gatlinburg properties are just steps away. This unit is the bottom floor of the cabin with an entrance and parking at the rear; the top floor unit is a studio space that is entirely separate with no shared living space. Each unit has its own hot tub. The unit above has a separate parking area and separate entrance and also accommodates four travelers. The cabin next door is identical in setup with a single studio unit on the top and a separate one bedroom unit on the bottom. Let us know if you'd like to book multiple units!
What’s important to us is spending time with our loved ones in a comfortable space, where we don’t have to worry about whether the kitchen will have everything we need or if the view will live up to the hype. That’s why we bought these cabins in the first place and that’s why we’ve stocked them with all the things you’ll need to be content and relaxed. If what you’re looking for is a kitchen that's capable of giving you everything from waffles to Thanksgiving dinner, all the important things like a TV and WiFi and a comfortable place to sleep, this is the cabin for you. If you need a pristine cabin with panoramic views and a gourmet kitchen, where nothing has been used before, we recommend you look elsewhere.
Please note that we don't have standard cable TV service at the cabin. We do have a Roku box with active Netflix and Hulu subscriptions. Live TV service, including both local networks and cable channels, is available as part of the Hulu package.
We’re so excited to share this space with you, because the best souvenir from any vacation are happy memories. The cabin has a binder inside with all the info you need about the property, as well as our recommendations for dining, entertainment, and hiking trails. We have spent years visiting the area throughout our lives, so you're also welcome to message us via the Airbnb app prior to or during your stay if you have specific questions about things to do or see. This isn't renting through a large cabin management company, where the owners are anonymous. This is a real family property that a real family owns and visits frequently and a real family does truly want you to enjoy it and the area just as much as we do!

We are in a neighborhood that is part vacation rentals, part permanent residents. It's quiet, but it's not secluded. This unit has a neighbor that is our other vacation rental property and a neighbor on the other side behind some trees that is also a vacation rental property. But many of the homes you will pass on your drive to the neighborhood are permanent residents.
