Guests have use of an entire suite / a light, spacious bedroom in our annexe, just 10 m from a 16th century Elizabethan cottage in the very heart of Stamford. (High St. is barely 1 min walk away but the street is quiet, as it is an access only road) The annexe has a private entrance with 2 secure locks. Parking - free on site. Private en-suite bathroom & shower. Wifi, TV, microwave, kettle & light breakfast are provided (cereals/fruit) & guests are welcome to use our cottage kitchen & laundry.

Hunky Dory Cottage

Our recently renovated 'home from home' is situated in the heart of Oakham with the boutique shops of Mill Street and many cafés, bars and restaurants of Oakham on its doorstep. The castle & park are an easy walk away as are all the towns amenities & attractions. The cottage is surrounded by roses and has been decorated by the owner, Jane, in her own unique style. All 3 beds are king size making it ideal for small families or up to 3 couples with good size dining room, lounge and a new kitchen.

Just a 10 minute drive to Stamford, and set in a peaceful location with walks to nearby woods and nature reserves on the doorstep. Enjoy the quiet calm whilst you relax with a glass (or two!) sitting in the sunny courtyard patio, or unwind in the orchard and watch kites soaring overhead. The log burner ensures a cosy evening after exploring this beautiful area described as the undiscovered Cotswolds. Eat in or enjoy superb food at one of many local eateries. A self-contained annex of 350 year old grade II listed country cottage in the beautiful Rutland village of North Luffenham, close to Rutland Water and historic towns of Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham. Accommodation is perfect for two or a small family with one child, consists of entrance hall with utilities leading up to double bedroom, and shower room on the first floor, and down to kitchen, lounge , working fireplace on the ground floor. An extra single bed available on request.

Located in the centre of the Historic Market Town of Uppingham. Based in is heart of the small county of Rutland. This apartment is a stones throw away to the gorgeous town centre, with markets every Friday, great places to eat and drink and some really cute little shops. A quick 10 minute drive to another Market Town of Oakham and not far from Rutland Water where you can enjoy some beautiful scenic walks. The apartment offers an allocated parking space and communal paved garden.

Our cottage is surrounded by fields and offers beautiful views of the countryside. It's just a 5 minute drive to Rutland Water, offering walks, cycling paths, or visit the nature reserve for some of the best bird spotting in the UK. Situated equally between Stamford and Oakham. The Fox is just a 5 minute drive away, an 18th century pub which serves great food. There is a well stocked village shop in Edith Weston, also a 5 minute drive away!

Come and stay in our lovingly converted barn in the middle of the Rutland countryside. Perfect for a quiet get-away with lots of walking and cycling from the doorstep. Set in a 3 acre plot of our family home, you will have access to a private garden at the rear of the property plus our orchard should you wish to bring 1 small - medium sized dog with you. Unfortunately, the property is not suited to large dogs.
