The "Bunkhouse" is a modern, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, located on a 70 acre working cattle ranch. This beautiful rural setting welcomes you to a spacious rustic getaway; five miles from the "hustle and bustle" of Jacksonville, Texas. With slate floors, walk-in tiled showers and a modern kitchen with granite countertops, the “Bunkhouse” offers “up- town” convenience in a relaxing get away! A large covered patio area provides outdoor space for dining and activities. Carport accommodates 3-4 cars.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in the piney woods of east Texas. Cabin is typically quiet but road construction is by the property currently. Sits on the edge of a cow pasture where cows moo(DO NOT FEED, they’re large and can hurt you, NOT RESPONSIBLE for people who have messed with cows.) Also has a pond with ducks that quack. (You’re welcome to feed them by the fence.) *No dishwasher, if allergic to Gain febreeze plug-in contact owner prior to arrival.

Outside enjoy the meditation garden,bbq grill and outdoor seating . Paint a rock to help our dragon, Skorchie, grow ! See cows, pot bellied pigs & horses! A short walk accesses the salt water pool. Please no smoking or vaping inside.

Little House By the Lake

(SMOKE FREE PROPERTY)This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, decks, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. Not too far to FIFA WC matches (2:15 to AT&T and 3:00 to NRG).

The property is close to many attractions like, Cherokee Trace Safari park, Texas State Railroad (Polar Express), I.D Fairchild State Forest, Jim Hogg Park, David Crockett National Forest and River Run. Along with relaxing with nature and enjoying the family farm of goats, chickens and our donkey Biscuit.

Guesthouse

Cozy little guesthouse in the heart of the Pineywoods. Close to the Footbridge, and Texas State Railroad. Its in town but it doesnt feel like it. It has a bathroom with a shower. It has Plates, cups, mugs, and wine glasses. A Keurig coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator. One queen bed and a twin daybed. Extra bedding and towels provided along with a heater and ac unit. The queen bed is soft and very comfortable.
