Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Ideal for sightseers and the more active with lovely walks in Roslin Glen and nearby Pentland Hills. Secure storage can be provided for bikes.

It has a large, enclosed garden with private driveway & spectacular views of the hills & surrounding farmland. It is the perfect location to enjoy outdoor pursuits or explore Edinburgh & central Scotland, with most major attractions less than an hour away. 2 Nights minimum stay. Sorry no pets.

Barleydean Suite is situated in a private annex in a country house. At the edge of the Pentland Hills, you can hike from your front door, wander to the local pub or take a bus to Edinburgh. The suite has private access for guests. It has 1 bedroom with a super king-size bed for 2 guests. Up to 2 foldaway single beds can be provided on request. Maximum occupancy is 4 people. There is a kitchenette suitable for light cooking, with hob, microwave, Nespresso, toaster, and washing machine.

Built in the 1700s the Gardener's House is set into the old Walled Garden in the stunning grounds of Arniston House, a William Adam Stately Home. The water tower is a bespoke home in an historic building sensitively converted by its architect owner. The tower is located in the historic town of Dalkeith and the settlement of Eskbank. 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh airport. A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
