Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

It floats on a sea of fynbos and lives out onto a large deck for breakfast with the birds, reading in the hammock, soaking in the fire bath, and dinner al fresco within earshot of the breaking waves. Penguin Beach is five minutes away, and the excellent Lighthouse restaurant in Simonstown is a must-do. Trendy Kalk Bay is a 10-minute drive, and has shops and restaurants. The train is a 10minute walk

Seaside Sanctuary

Perfect home for re-connecting with friends and family, with a pool for the summer and fireplaces for the winter. The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples. Please note: not suitable for more than 6 adults. The house is set up with a well equipped kitchen, in- and outdoor braai, board/lawn games and a TV with Netflix.
