Pear Tree Lodge has recently undergone a complete renovation. The property is self- contained from the main house with underfloor heating throughout and mid-century decor. There is a pretty garden exclusively for guests .Keys can be left out so guests can let themselves in and maintain their privacy, we will be on hand should you need anything. The property benefits from its own quiet shale driveway with off street parking. The lodge is a 15 minute walk to the beach, town and the train station.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay in your own completely private place, with driveway parking and fast WiFi. The accommodation comprises a bedroom /lounge /working room, kitchen and bathroom. The annex, especially the bedroom, is very quiet and peaceful. Located conveniently for the motorway and also easy access to the town centre, train station, shops, takeaways, restaurants and pubs.

We have a very friendly dog who will be on hand to greet you along with 2 young children

Stansted Airport - Beautiful Annexe with Parking

The Annexe is separate from our house with its own entrance. Basic items are provided i.e. Milk, Tea & Coffee etc. Free parking during your stay. Ebbsfleet & Meopham are a driving distance away so St Pancras and Victoria can be reached in 17 - 35 minutes. The location is great for people who love long walks & nature as we are surrounded by ancient unspoilt woodlands and rolling hills. We have a choice of three Forestry Commission Parks to visit.

Visit the famous antiques centre, walk or paddle along the river or enjoy some food and drink in one of the many country pubs. Jump on the train and travel along the Crouch Valley line to vineyards, more river walks or the quiet, unspoiled, riverside town of Burnham on Crouch. Alternatively, travel in the opposite direction and London awaits within 40mins.

The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.
