Opened in 1852, The Cresselly Inn is the oldest coach inn in Mountain Ash, a town at the heart of Welsh coal mining and steam train heritage. Renovated in 2025 with the addition of 7 B&B rooms, it has 4 double rooms, one single, a family room with twin beds or a super-king plus a sofa bed, and a disabled access room with twin beds or a super-king plus an armchair-single bed. There is a lift to the first floor, a 7-day a week restaurant and the friendliest bar in the Cynon Valley. A Welsh treat!

A disabled access room with fully accessible bathroom, elevator access and vibrating pillow fire alarm for the hearing disabled. Twin beds that can become a super-king, plus an airmchair that can fold out into a small single bed. Guests must tell us when booking how they want the beds configured. (For example twin singles or a super-king).
