Our Cottage is secluded in the country near a river, with no other houses nearby, just Wildlife and peace and quiet. A Front porch for relaxing and a newer deck on the back for cooking out or watching the wildlife. The inside has just been completely updated, with a few original antique touches. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a half bath, downstairs a master bedroom with bathroom, open concept living room kitchen area. And Main level laundry area. Ready for a long vacation or a quick getaway.

Conveniently located in Rib Mountain (Wausau), our home is in THE HUB for the area's best shopping, skiing, restaurants, and a plethora of possible activities. Granite Peak Ski Hill, or "Rib Mountain" is less than 1 mile away, as well as "9 Mile" trails, and various parks are all close by. A variety of amenities are available for your use. Bar, fire pit, deck, gas grill, cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, Wi-Fi, and cable are all available. Welcome to this comfortable and inviting home!

Shalom Retreat

Enjoy a stay in the cottage in the big woods! The lane leading to it winds a half mile back from the road. This place will be a highlight because of everything from the spacious yard surrounded with woods, kitchen fully stocked with dishes, open, cozy living room and cute bedrooms. It is a family friendly place including a Foosball table, board games and toys. Also has a picnic table and backyard fire pit (firewood included) or you can choose to grill your favorites on the covered back porch.

Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. Get a bird's eye view into the kitchen of the Village Hive Bakery Kitchen while staying in the newly renovated "flatlet". Salvaged & repurposed building supplies used to create a unique studio apartment above the bakery retail. Guests can enjoy the retail farmhouse table and comfortable seating space by the Main Street picture window. Cooking/baking classes available.
