Welcome to Waihau Daze! The holiday home with ample space and lovely sea views from both top and lower decks, situated 2 minutes drive from the Waihau bay boat ramp in a quiet cul de sac. Attention Fisherman! cut the ques with your very own VIP lockable vehicle/ trailer park right opposite the wharf, perfect for the busy seasons!Off-street boat parking at the house for 3 large boats,fully fenced backyard. Camping with a cabin...! Now with a outdoor bath. Enjoy the peace and quiet of your very own camping spot. Everything provided....just arrive. Instead of putting up a tent...a little cabin room is ready for you. Comfy dbl bed with mosquito net meaning you can sleep with doors wide open all night. Wake up to stunning views over ocean and islands - just a 5min walk through the paddock to the secluded beach. Hot shower under the stars. Outdoor bath to soak away the cares. Seperate toilet.

Cosy cabin at Waihau Bay

Waihau Bay is one of the best fishing destinations in New Zealand, Guests come from all over to catch Tuna and Marlin in the summer season, plus the many other fish species all year round. Clean and comfortable studio cabin with ensuite, come and enjoy the brand new bed. Located opposite the ocean, enjoy drinks on the deck and sleep with the sound of the sea. Just a short stroll to the sandy beach. Plenty of off street parking directly in front of the cabin, heaps of room for a boat.

Longview Cottage - peace and quiet.

My place is close to beaches, bush and the famous Motu cycle way. You’ll love my place because of the friendly welcome, the little extras AND the comfy bed!! Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. Peace and tranquility - leave the city behind.

Stunning Seaview retreat in Tokomaru Bay

Forget your worries in this spacious and peaceful home located on an elevated site in the middle of the bay. Pick yourself up a famous paua pie from Cafe 35, pour yourself a cold one and sit back on the deck to watch the sea and sky change from blue to purple to pink to orange. Enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets and panoramic views from almost every room. Go to sleep to the hypnotic sound of the waves then get up and do it all again! Kia tau te rangimarie...

Bush haven private studio

Surrounded by the bush, our unique cosy studio is a welcome retreat. Breakfast and good coffee is provided for our guests. Situated at the top of a hill with good views. We are within walking distance to the beautiful Nga Tapuwai o Toi walking track, 5 mins drive to Ohope beach and Whakatane town. Listen to the call of native birds, including Kiwi. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down. This is a great place to unwind and relax.

Tokomaru Beach

Our place is built behind an historic building, only metres from the beautiful Tokomaru Bay Beach and 100 metres walk to Pakirikiri Marae.The facilities are all modern, with heat pump/air conditioning, acomodating 4 people with style, comfort and ease. One queen bed is in the lounge as a pull down/retractable and the second in a separate bedroom. Shower and toilet is an ensuite shared by all guests but accessed through the bedroom.

The Tree House

Our Tree House .. Located on a north facing ridge with spectacular views of whale island and surrounding bush land , Water is from a pristine spring,tested 100% pure ( no chemicals ) Modern kitchen to bring out the creativity in you . Home heating is provided by a beautiful freestanding fire fuelled by wood harvested from the property sustainably while hot water is from our solar system ( bathing in the sunshine )
