Gold 'n Green Cottage

The cottage is located in Parksville's Oceanside Village Resort. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher opens up to the vaulted dining and living area. Each bedroom has a flat screen tv with Roku, plus another in the living room --although hopefully you will be enjoying the outdoors! Free wi-fi runs all your devices. All linens (bed, bath, kitchen, and beach) are provided. Coffee and tea provided, and some condiments. Grocery stores close. I do accept dogs. NO SMOKING ALLOWED, EVEN OUTSIDE.

In a quiet neighbourhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Amazing wildlife including orcas, whales, otters, seals, sea lions, eagles, are frequently spotted right out front. Our small, cozy cabin is full of retro, funky details and has a small kitchen area. Grocery store and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away.

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

The townhouse looks out into forest parkland and is an easy five minute stroll through the resort to Rathtrevor beach. The beautiful sand beach stretches out almost a kilometre at low tide offering safe sandy beaches and warm water swimming.

Oceanside Escapes

Oceanside Escapes is a year-round destination, perfect for a romantic weekend away or an annual trip with family and friends. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is pet friendly (additional fee) and is available for bookings for five nights or more during the summer season (2026 onwards) and two nights or more during the balance of the year. The cabin is situated on two floors, with a loft style third bedroom and bathroom on the upstairs level.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
