Serene lake views with your coffee from our large screened porch or sitting on our dock. Boating, and fishing are excellent.

You will feel like you are miles from civilization, but with the convenience of being close to town.

Peace Barn Getaway is a private, cozy modern one-bedroom barn apartment tucked behind the main house, offering a peaceful rural escape but only 4 miles from town. The space includes one bedroom, one full bathroom, a kitchenette and a living area with a sofa that converts into a queen bed, comfortably sleeping up to 4 guests. Enjoy a small coffee bar, washer/dryer, hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. We are only 6.2 miles from UWG and 6.1 miles from South Wire Company.

Enjoy 3 decks and soak in the scenery or relax in the swinging bed or hottub and listen to the sounds of Little Terrapin Creek.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a rustic cabin overlooking the river this is the place for you. It is between Atlanta Ga. & Birmingham Al. about 45 min. from the tallest mountain in the southeast and Talladega Racetrack in the heart of Dixie. The cabin is fully furnished with dishes, pots and pans. If you like to cook outdoors there are two one charcoal & one gas grill available for you. Also we offer a canoe or kayak with life vest while staying with us.

Firewood is available upon request, we will supply enough for one fire, (fire pit outside and fireplace inside) the extra firewood will be $7 per bundle unless you bring your own. In addition to lovely interior decor, outdoor spaces include patio with grill, covered area, and adjacent wildlife area/walking. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and accessible by stairs. The home is located adjacent to my home.
