Just a 14-minute walk, or 3-minute drive to downtown Clayton. Spend an evening on the screened in porch, play cards in the game room while listening to some music or enjoy breakfast with family in the kitchen. SO much to do in the area such as hiking, kayaking or shopping, or visit a winery.

Romantic, rustic cabin at the base of a 35-foot waterfall, nestled in the middle of 16 secluded acres surrounded by national forest that extends to the Chattooga River. This magical get-away caters to those with an adventurous spirit. Hike from the cabin to additional waterfalls, bike down Turkey Ridge Road to Opossum Creek Trail and the Five Falls or drive two miles to the Chattooga Belle Farm. The Waterfall Cabin is a joy to us all, and we hope you love it as much as we do. No cleaning fee.

Our romantic retreat features carefully curated vintage furnishings, an outdoor shower, napping net, relaxing seating areas and an outdoor fire pit stocked with firewood and a S’mores kit! Rustic beauty with modern touches all within a stones throw of two wineries. The first thing you notice here is the incredible stillness as you take in the dramatic view of clouds scraping the top of the Glassy Mountain 1200' above. Enjoy a morning espresso on the yoga platform in the trees 40' feet above the creek and then cool off after a hike/bike/paddle in the outdoor shower. Or let the summer breeze lull you into a nap on the sleeping porch sipping local wines. That's my favorite.
