In 2022 we were fortunate to buy an additional 3.6 hectares to add to Wild Fox Hill. Included on the land is one of the older houses in Hogsback. Inspired by the outcomes from previous building projects we took up the challenge of transforming the space. Using our knowledge and experience of earthern building, and the availability of beautiful planks shaped from pine trees cut on the land, we have created a rustic, characterful, nature inspired, light filled, home space for our guests to enjoy.

A spacious bright and airy tranquil home

Our house is bright, airy and welcoming with an open-plan lifestyle, large sliding doors opening onto a covered verandah and a private courtyard and secure off-street parking. You're just minutes from the beach and shops and our neighbourhood is safe and friendly. The sunny main bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms both have two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. Our house is filled with books, love and light and we look forward to your visit!

Only 500m from the beach and 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The house is completely fenced in and caters for dogs as well. There is solar power and backup water tanks as well, so no need to worry about any power or water interruptions. Elsa’s is the perfect place to unwind, in the charming village of Chintsa East.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Our studio A is suited for those short stays, stopovers or as a comfy and cozy base. Remote access and off street parking is available for 1 vehicle. Double cab bakkies with a tow hitch don’t fit when there’s 2 cars parked - where on street parking is generally safe in our quiet neighbourhood or we can arrange off street parking on request. Nahoon Beach and river is 1.5km , Spar and restaurants 500m away.

BeachKaya ~ Chintsa West Beach House

BeachKaya is located within Khamanga Bay Private Residential Estate in Chintsa West, approx. 30 minutes north of East London, on the Wild Coast Jikeleza Route. BeachKaya is just a short stroll from the beach. Your private beach access (via a locked gate) is about 100m from the house, where you can choose from a sandy beach break right in front, a tidal pool on the left, and a lovely, protected bay on the right.
