Welcome to Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari! Located on the side of our visitor centre sits a spacious two-bedroom home. It is a relaxing and comfortable place to unwind, with stunning views and amazing walking trails right at your door. We are New Zealand's largest fenced eco-sanctuary, home to 2,500 kiwi which you should be able to hear at night. Your accommodation includes free access for self-guided walks through the Southern Enclosure, or book a tour to get truly immersed in nature.

Let us share our dream with you! Our home has recently been completed and offers stylish and open plan living with water access 30m away. Watch the children paddle board and swim whilst you relax on our large deck overlooking the peaceful estuary at Rangitahi.
