This room, located within our cozy Lombard guesthouse (foresteria), offers a serene and stylish retreat for your stay. The dark wood-look stoneware flooring extends throughout the room, adding a touch of sophistication and practicality. Living/Work Area: An elegant white round table in the Saarinen style is paired with two comfortable dark velvet chairs with golden-finished legs, offering the perfect space for a laptop session or a morning coffee. The entire setup rests on a rustic woven natural fiber rug that warmly defines the space. Sleeping Area: A comfortable double bed is positioned against the back wall. Above it, a draped and suspended natural fabric screen creates a minimalist canopy, adding privacy and a touch of airy elegance. To complete the room’s features, the private bathroom is a small oasis of well-being: it is equipped with both a convenient shower and a relaxing bathtub, giving you total freedom to choose between a refreshing morning shower or a long, unwinding bath at the end of the day. The standout feature that brings nature inside is the large raw wood log—a real tree trunk—which serves as a unique and sculptural side table. Light and View The true highlight of the room is the pair of large French doors in traditional Lombard style: in addition to flooding the space with beautiful natural light, they open onto a large, livable terrace with a lake view. A private outdoor space perfect for relaxing in the fresh air.
