Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Sleeping 11, the Quinta has 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a fully furnished living area, a dining area, an outdoor kitchen, a private dining and outdoor BBQ area with charcoal grill and pizza oven, a terrace with a spectacular view of the river and forest and an outdoor pool (shared).

The apartment is located in the upper part of Coimbra. It has fabulous views over the city and the Mondego River. At 10 minutes walking from Sofia Street (city center) and at the same distance as the Old University. It has 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. From April 5, 2023, the City of Coimbra charges a Tourist Tax of €1/person/night, up to a maximum of three consecutive nights, for all persons aged 16 years or over. The payment of the tourist tax must be made at check-in, in cash.
