Come home to this warm, cosy, newly refurbished (Jan 2025), lovingly decorated cabin. Enjoy stunning views across Loch Portree, the town and the Cuillin Mountains. Feel peace and tranquility surrounded by nature; yet be within easy walking distance of the town center with restaurants, pubs and shops. Explore our bonny island from this central location. Spot otters, seals, shore birds and occasionally sea eagles from the cabin. A similar cabin, Kate’s Cabin, can be booked too for larger groups.

Seaview: Portree Townhouse with Spectacular Views

Seaview is a charming, original Skye stone townhouse with character. A few minutes' walk from the centre of Portree. It has great views across Portree bay, The Black Rock and Ben Tianavaig. Restaurants, pubs and shops on your doorstep. The house is ideally situated to travel around the island sightseeing. Bookings: Peak; April to October - we can only accept weekly bookings (Saturday to Saturday). Off-Peak; Oct to March - shorter stays (min 4 nights) are possible. On-Street or near-by parking.

Escape to Skye in our cosy hut in the heart of the most exciting scenery in the world. 5 min walk to Kilt Rock and a patio with spectacular views of the mountains. 10 mins drive to the Storr or the Quiraing for walking and to Staffin Beach with dinosaur footprints. You won't forget this trip any time soon! The hut is well insulated for Winter, fully equipped and is decorated with photographs by the owner, a professional landscape photographer. Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

Heatherfield house self catering cabin The Shack

The Shack is a cosy cabin for two that has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Situated in Penifiler, a 10 minute drive from Portree, and close to the shore it has stunning views over Loch Portree. Centrally located on the island, it is an ideal spot to be based. It has a comfortable open plan living room with well equipped kitchen and double, en-suite bedroom. Outside there is a private seating area where, if the weather is behaving, you will be able to see the Old Man of Storr.

Two miles from Portree, Boisdale House offers peace, quiet and uninterrupted views. Our guest accommodation sits as an annexe on our house, providing space and privacy within a stunning rural setting. Our luxurious super-king room with en-suite bathroom and private entrance lets you come and go as you please. A large picture window gives stunning views of the hills of Skye. Breakfast options are provided within the room, including porridge, granola, yoghurt, croissant, fruit compote & jam.

The Crofter's House, Isle of Skye

The Crofter's House is a traditional Scottish croft house that has been renovated to create a calm and peaceful retreat in the wild landscape of the Isle of Skye. Situated beside Camustianavaig Bay, the house enjoys a rural location, yet is only five miles from Portree. The house has been featured in a number of publications including Elle Decoration, Conde Nast Traveller, Time Out, and Homes & Interiors Scotland. NB: the five-mile road to Camustianavaig is a single track (tarmac) road.

Budhmor Garden Chalet

Our Garden Chalet is a lovely little space located in the grounds of Dunborrodale bed and breakfast. Close enough to walk into the village but a lovely quiet place to relax in. The Chalet is compact but a perfect space for two with a double bed, Kitchen area, table and chairs with wifi and TV. Featuring a modern bathroom with shower and heated towel rail. With views of our garden from the windows we can offer you a cozy stay. We provide parking within our home.

The Cedar's Cabin

Our property is in easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and the sights of Portree. It is located in a residential part of the village and is close to the shore, with lovely sea views. The Cedar's Cabin is finished to a high standard and offers luxury self catering accommodation for 2 people. The decor is modern Scottish style. It has underfloor heating, is super insulated and has a log burning stove (meaning the cabin is suitable all year round.)
