Views to the sea and close to all that the popular seaside village of Portpatrick has to offer, this stunning modern holiday home in a quiet and private cul de sac but only moments from the shore front and harbour. The house is very light and airy with plenty of space for large family get togethers, with each bedroom having their own bath or shower room. Portpatrick beach is just a short stroll from the house. The owner is close by and is always happy to answer any questions or call in if needed

Cosy Galloway cottage - sleeps 5; beaches & walks

Burnside is a cosy, secluded bolthole and perfect base to explore old Galloway. Built in the 1850s, our family restored the bungalow in 1970 and we've been visiting since. The cottage sits in a tranquil valley, a mile from the sea. It'll be just you, the wildlife and the view, within easy reach of beaches, rocky coves, and hills. The house is in an enclosed half-acre site. It sleeps five in double, twin and single bedrooms. The kitchen/living room are open plan with log burning stove and WiFi.

Seaside home-from-home, on the east cliff of the village, 7 minutes walk down to the shore. (Slower coming back up!) Walk to the Post Office, bakers, cafe, pubs, restaurants, gift shops. Hide away, walk the cliffs and glen, swim, golf, putt, fish, cycle. Enjoy dark skies. Explore Mull of Galloway, our many gardens, beaches, lighthouses. Day trip to Wigtown book town, Kirkcudbright artists town, Castle Douglas food town. Walk the Southern Upland Way or cycle the 250 mile coast to coast route.

The Bullpen is situated in quiet open countryside one mile from Stranraer. The property has just recently been completed and was part of the original farm buildings. Private Hot Tub. It is all on one floor and has an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge, super king size or twin bedroom and bathroom with separate shower. Close to golf courses and gardens. Also great for walking and cycling. Many attractions in the area include Logan Botanic Gardens, Wigtown Book Town and Mull of Galloway.

Beach Cottage is a charming property right on the seafront in beautiful Portpatrick. A perfect retreat for those looking to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this area of South West Scotland. Walks, Shops, Pubs, Cafe, Beach and Dunskey Golf Course are all easily accessible. Unobstructed views across the harbour and out toward the coastline of Ireland. To the rear of the property is an enclosed cottage garden, with small patio area. The cottage offers cozy, home from home accommodation.

Dinvin Cottage

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Dinvin Cottage is newly renovated in May 2024 and situated a few minutes drive from Portpatrick Harbour. Dinvin Cottage has 3 bedrooms (1 with a super king and 2 with double beds), a kitchen, a cosy living room with a log burner fire and a separate sun room which looks down on the beautiful private enclosed grounds. Portpatrick is a beautiful small coastal town, it has lots of friendly pubs and walks with beautiful views.

The Little Birdhouse

Graded 5 Star by Tourism NI, our tiny cottage dates from the 1700s. Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. The cottage has recently been renovated but retains its historic charm. The furnishings are a mix of antique, vintage and second-hand finds that come together to create a cosy, relaxed, eclectic vibe that's stylish and reflects our commitment to recycle and re-use.
