This apartment is the result of an architect renovation of a historical building. It seeks an harmonious blend of the Porto tradition (such as the wooden floor and window frames) with contemporary architecture. - Luxuriously finished and decorated, this apartment is the right choice for those who value a distinctive experience; - Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with all the essential amenities; - Amenities include bathroom essentials (shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, towels, hair dryer, etc.); kitchen essentials (spices, extra virgin olive oil, coffee, tea, complimentary bottle of water, etc.); and others (iron & table, cleaning material, baby crib and high chair upon request, etc.); - Amazing design and readily available support. - Guests have private access to the entire apartment. - The kitchen is fully equipped: necessary cooking ware; initial cooking kit including salt, pepper, extra-virgin olive oil, sugar; tableware including wine glasses, etc. - Other essential amenities: hair dryer, Iron & table, hangers, cleaning material, writing material, etc. - If there is anything important missing let us know and we'll provide it ASAP. - We let our guests decide on the level of interaction they wish. - We are always available to help with local suggestions and are happy to meet up with our guests - We are readily available in the most used messaging systems: WhatsApp and iMessage, but also through call, Airbnb chat, email, etc. The apartment is situated in the heart of Porto city just a short walk from the city’s very best restaurants. Most amenities lie within similarly easy reach, including some amazing stores right next to the apartment. The river is 2 minutes away. _____ GETTING AROUND THE CTY • Bus - There is a bus stop 1 minutes away from the apartment, you can get pretty much anywhere in the city on a low budget • Metro - The nearest metro station is "São Bento" 500 meters up the street • Tram - 10 minutes away there is a tram station to take you to FOZ (the beach) along the river. This is a panoramic trip - TOP! • Parking - The parking spots near the apartment are paid from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. There are parking garages available near the apartment • Boats - By the river you will find a lot of boats that travel up and down all day. Let us know if you want to take a trip! - The best way to get around is by public transportation. Leave the stress of traffic home and enjoy the city by foot! - Beware that there is an elevator in the building but you have to go up 2 flights of stairs before reaching it. - The apartment has a water boiler, if you are taking a shower for longer than 20 minutes, the hot water might start cooling down.

Douro River Mirror - Downtown's Apartment with River View Balcony & Garage

The apartment has been equipped and decorated with the singular purpose of providing guests with a memorable stay. It`s centrally located within walking distance to all tourist attractions in Porto downtown. Guests have access to all the facilities of the apartment and a parking space in the garage. Upon arrival, we will welcome you, check you in, and share tips on what to do or what and where to eat in the city, as well as answer to any other questions you may have. During your stay, we are always on hand to assist you whenever you deem necessary. The property is set in the historical center, adjacent to the Ribeira area, full of iconic buildings and magnificent views of the Douro river. It is a 5 minute walk to the section of the 14th-century Fernandina wall and Santa Catarina Street. The apartment is 600 meters / 9 minutes walk from the metro and train S. Bento station with connection to the airport (+/-35 min trip) At Avenida dos Aliados, you can find the most varied buses that will allow you to quickly reach the beaches, Foz or anywhere within the city or its outskirts, not served by the metro network. If you drive to Porto... In the center of the city, during the night (20h00 - 08h00) and weekends, street parking is free, however during the day, it´s paid and you can only park two hours at a time. There are several parks nearby, we can recommend the better ones during the check-in. Alternatively, if you´re interested, I can book you a private transfer to get you to the apartment. It costs 9€/person (children until the age of 6 don´t pay and from 6 to 12 they pay half price) and it takes 20 minutes to get there from the airport (it can be used for 1 person but will cost 18€ anyway). The driver would wait for you at arrivals terminal holding a sign with your name on it. Free private parking is available in the building. Bathroom towels and linens are provided. Wireless internet is available throughout the apartment.
