A tranquil spot. Located beside 3.5-acre Lake Tranquility (private) with a deck overlooking a horse pasture, and swans ... a great place for a peaceful getaway. Upstairs from the family room is a loft with twin beds and small office. Electric heating and air-conditioning make it very cozy. A queen-sized bedroom on the first-floor, the kitchen, the bathroom with shower, and a personal laundry room make it nice for a multi-night stay. The living area is directly above horse stalls in the basement.

Cozy Cottage nestled on the Slippery Rock Creek

Secluded along the banks of the Slippery Rock Creek is the 4th generation family cottage, fully renovated in 2017, originally built in 1940. Descend the 45 steps to the cottage and find “there’s no place like (a 2nd) home”. From the wraparound deck you may see geese, deer, bald eagles, osprey, beaver, great blue heron and ducks. You will find yourself just 15 minutes from Moraine and McConnells Mill State Parks. 15 minutes from Mines and Meadows, 10 minutes from Sunset Ranch.

The home is situated on 13 acres of land bordering both sides of the Neshannock Creek. With towering old growth forest on all sides, you truly connect with nature. The property boasts exclusive access to the Neshannock Creek, including a creek side deck. A cascading waterfall borders us to the north. The log home is constructed with rough hewn timbers, granite countertop, and hardwood floors throughout. A towering buck stove stone hearth is the centerpiece of the great room.

Nestled in the scenic back roads of Pennsylvania, this charming two-bedroom bungalow exudes warmth and coziness. Some notable features of this home are the large yard, handmade pergola and fire pit, and small lake with Bass and Catfish which provide the perfect setting for outdoor fun.

PRIVATE MINI STUDIO (D2)

This Mini Studio is for anyone needing a neat, clean, cool place to stay. It has a new queen bed, sleeper sofa, a kitchenette and a full bathroom with a private entrance on the 3rd floor of a beautiful 1890s Pittsburgh mansion. It's the size of a large room and works very well with guests that are planning to work, or go out enjoying the city and come back to a safe, clean and comfy place to recharge for the night (not suitable for kids under 10).

The property backs onto a greenbelt - down a sharp embankment you can see the Connoquenessing Creek - which you can enjoy from the covered patio or the breakfast table in front of the large window. We have seen deer, groundhogs, hawks, and even a bald eagle!
