The SandBox Grotto

The Grotto is the downstairs half of a vintage beachside beachhouse owned by "the sandcastle lady" - sandy feet. With 1 bedroom and 2 full baths, it can accommodate up to 5 guests comfortably with full kitchen, spacious living area and enclosed patio/dog rest area. Fully equipped for your best pal with a large pet door and an even larger kennel. Beach toys, boogie boards — everything you need for your Padre vacation in one place. Let's build a sandcastle - that is what your hosts are famous for!

Ground floor adult living condo gets a person in the mood for salt life vacation without dragging luggage up and down stairs. This unit is located on the ground floor which makes it very convenient to load/unload suitcases & groceries. Only a few steps to the beach. The best aspect of this condo is its location having a lots of amenities within walking distance.

There are elevators in the building and laundry facilities right down the hallway. The condo has been newly updated and is located near Clayton's Beach Bar and within walking distance to the beach. You can see the fireworks from the balcony, and the condo is directly located above the pool. A new air conditioning unit has been installed (10/2023) All bedrooms have a 50” smart TV available. Pets are not allowed, and the unit is non-smoking. Tenants who compromise the space will be charged an additional cleaning fee.
