Southampton gets very quiet after Labour Day. That’s the best thing about coming in the off-season. A five-bedroom house with a hot tub on the back deck and a fire pit in the fenced side yard. Twelve people, two and a half baths, a perfect off-season getaway. Four minutes’ walk to the pub. Twenty minutes to the lit ice-skating trail at MacGregor Point.
