We welcome guests to experience our peaceful, wooded 30 acre property located in the foothills of Nevada County. Witness and listen to the sounds of running water as you recharge; lazing at our creek, hiking through the property, on the guest deck overlooking our natural setting or soaking in the hot tub as you enjoy the wonderful nightly sunsets and evening stars. Although you experience the sense of being completely isolated, you will be within 5 miles of 12 eateries and a grocery market.

Surrounded by towering pines & the sweet sounds of nature, you have your own private entrance, a cozy electric fireplace, & kitchenette. Spend your days exploring trails, lakes, rivers or local wineries & breweries. Your private deck awaits you to relax & enjoy the sunset. This space is nestled in the foothills allowing you to explore Nevada City & Grass Valley, go to Scotts Flat Lake or even day trip to Lake Tahoe.

Private, quiet, & spacious studio. 10-min. walk to downtown, historic Placerville. A variety of ethnic restaurants/bars, quaint shopping, art studio’s, live local music, microbreweries & a local yoga studio. Close to historic parks, & 15 min. from several nearby wineries, amid the El Dorado foothills. Enjoy the wine country and the El Dorado Fairground, less than 2 miles from the studio. Come for the river rafting, bike & hiking trails, local lakes/rivers or a 55 min. drive to Lake Tahoe!

A quiet spot in a private neighborhood, adjacent to nearby shops, including Starbucks, Safeway, and restaurants. This guest suite is completely separate from the main house, with a full-size living room, bedroom, and bathroom. A full size desk with desk chair offer a great work space. A small table with chairs offers a quiet spot to enjoy a meal. A small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (fresh-ground coffee, cream, & sugar) are in-suite. (Please be aware, we DO NOT have a kitchen)

Enjoy the view of the snow capped Sierras while soaking in the hot tub, reading on the private porch, or sitting next to the cozy fireplace indoors. Private, secluded Guest Suite with private entrance. A new kitchenette has been added for convenient cooking. Play a game of shuffleboard or sip a glass of wine while sitting by the outdoor fire pit. Our home is nestled under a canopy of conifers next door to the Tahoe National Forest and only a 5 minutes drive to downtown Nevada City.

The Inkling -Studio Guesthouse Downtown 2 beds

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our 3 small dogs Lola, Leo and Charlie.

Broad Street Studio in downtown Nevada City

Nestled in the heart of historic Nevada City, this basement studio ( one open space no separate bedroom) is a perfect opportunity to enjoy our beautiful little town and all that it has to offer. Located a few doors up from the Methodist Church, it provides a private setting with off street parking within the city limits. Walk to shops, restaurants, walking trails and more. Newly remodeled with a kitchen and private patio. Basement has low 7 foot ceilings.

Rollins Lake Retreat, Close to Freeway AC & WIFI

Relax in this serene guest house, perfect for unwinding after a night out or a quick stopover. Just 5 minutes from HWY-65, it's a short drive (10-20 minutes) to exciting venues and activities.
