Privately sited on a small farm founded on permaculture principles, The Gazebo features native timber, a mezzanine relaxation platform, and unique indoor-outdoor living spaces. Our light and cosy studio is situated under our house with its own entrance and is equipped with all you might need for a comfortable stay including continental breakfast. You can sit outside undercover and enjoy an al fresco breakfast. There is a pool table and darts for you to waste time on. All good fun. We love friendly Thames with its unique shops and cafes and hope that you will enjoy it too. Thames is ideally situated for exploring the Coromandel and the northern Waikato.

Owharoa Hideaway

Owharoa Hideaway offers couples a self contained stay in a rural setting. A north facing aspect located above the Karangahake Gorge just a short walk/drive from the Owharoa Waterfall where the most scenic parts of the Hauraki rail-trail cycle-way can be accessed. Modern fittings are used throughout the luxurious semi-detached bathroom that is nestled amongst trees. From the cottage deck survey the Coromandel and watch tui, bellbird, kereru, kaka and more vie for your attention.

Geoff's Pad in Thames

Our AirBnB is a separate, self-contained wing of our beautiful new home in Totara, 3kms south of Thames Township and gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula. We are about an hour’s drive from Auckland International Airport and close to the many and varied attractions of the Coromandel and the Waikato Region. Easy access to the Hauraki Rail Trail. From our elevated position there are uninterrupted views over the township, Firth of Thames and the Kauaeranga Valley.

Coromandel Sanctuary

Situated on the crest of the Coromandel ranges on the 309 road. Mahakirau Forest Estate comprises almost 600 ha of native forest. Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". A spacious house in a bush setting, sit back and relax, take a bush walk down to the stream on the property and star gaze at night.

There is no internet or TV so you can have a quiet getaway where you can forget the stresses of life & relax. We are on the Kauaeranga Valley Rd close to all the walking tracks, so if you are wanting to walk the tracks during the day & stay with us at night the cabin would be perfect for you.
