Our bespoke Shepherds hut is totally secluded with its own private & enclosed garden. You will find your own private cooking hut with gas BBQ and decking area, complete with seating and utensils for you to cook while taking in the breath-taking views. As you are perfectly isolated on the edge of the farm hill, the only neighbours you will have to worry about are the sheep or cattle quietly grazing. Inside the hut, there is a log burning stove & everything you need for your remote digital detox.

Our hut is 22ft x 8ft, slightly larger than some with a double bed, en-suite shower-room, fold-away dining ledge & stools, snuggle sofa, smart TV, WiFi, electric heating, a wood burner & private hot tub. The Birder’s Bothy is an off-grid shepherd’s hut with a veranda, set in a sunny spot in the open woodland behind the castle at Bamff, with plenty of space around it to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The surrounding native woods are full of birdsong, and the Bamff beaver wetlands are a five minute walk away. Discover the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this place to stay. The Birder’s Bothy is on the Cateran Trail. We can arrange transport to and from any other sections of the trail.
