Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. Centrally located, it’s a short drive to Winterplace Ski Resort, WV’s 1st Mountain Coaster & PuttPutt at Brush Creek Falls, HMT, Pipestem, New and Bluestone Rivers. EV charging station 1/2 mile, Camp Creek. A couple’s get away, traveling for bus, or family vacay, our cabin is perfect. We strive to make every guest as comfortable as possible!

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.
