Castanheira de Pera is a wonderful place to explore this lovely area from. Praia das Rocas is just five minutes away. Visit the romantic shist villages in the Lousa mountains, the historic country towns nearby, swim in the small river beaches or boat on the nearby lake. Just step outside the house onto long walking trails, go cycling on the forest tracks or just sip a glass of local wine and enjoy the unbelievable views. There are summer festas and weekly markets in most of the local villages.

In den umliegenden Dörfern gibt es viel zu entdeckten. Wie Wassersport, Wandertouren, Radfahren ein Besuch der umliegenden Flussstrände uvm. Ihr braucht mehr Platz? Bucht einfach unsere Hütte dazu. *Da sich der Hof noch im Aufbau befindet gibt es hier und da ein paar Schönheitsmängel*

Get the peace and quiet of the countryside amidst forest lanes with the towns of Pedrogao Grande and Figueiro dos Vinhos with restaurants, supermarkets and shops about 9 - 11 kms away. The Barragem do Cabril, with an outdoor pizza restaurant (summer) and two well known river beaches are in close proximity. There is a local cafe and mini-market about 300 metres from Chale Pomba.

Durante a sua estadia poderá fazer longos passeios (a pé ou de jeep) pela mata que envolve a aldeia, tomar banho nas pequenas represas (quase privadas) das nossas ribeiras, ver animais selvagens e conhecer os pontos turísticos dos concelhos da Lousã, Castanheira de Pêra, Pedrogão Grande e Figueiró dos Vinhos.
