There will be farm fresh eggs in the fridge waiting for you for breakfast or feel free to walk out to the coop and gather your own! Our farm also has Longhorns, cows, a donkey, and goats. JX Ranch Bunkhouse - Longhorn Room

Enjoy some peace and quiet away from the lights and noise of town in our rustic old Bunkhouse. Located 20 miles south of Tucumcari & I-40 (entrance across from mile marker 62 on Hwy 209) on a cattle ranch. 2.5 miles off the pavement on a dirt road (not suitable for motorcycles or very low clearance vehicles). You have your own entrance, private kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. If we have guests in the adjoining (separate) unit (Cow Camp Room), please be courteous and keep voices down.

Outside there is a small patio with adirondack chairs and gas fire pit that over look the cattle pasture and the stunning Panhandle sunsets.

Our comfortable, cozy little cabin is on 1.5 acres, nestled above the Village of Ruidoso. We are conveniently located about halfway between downtown Ruidoso and Ski Run Rd. which takes you to Ski Apache. Elevation is 7000 ft, so it's a bit cooler here than down in the village. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long work week or for an extended stay. Featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it accommodates a maximum of 4 guests.
