Enjoy a cold drink on the porch swing or opt for ping pong, corn hole or games. You'll see cows, birds, & deer.

Embrace the bucolic lifestyle of this quaint cabin that’s adjacent to a pasture and pond. When weather permits, we have a fire pit you may use to make S’mores right in front of your cabin. We welcome you here to enjoy rest during your travels or maybe need a quiet place that’s near the Hospital. We are 2 miles from historic downtown & close to parks & lakes. Also, I will prepare breakfast for you and deliver to your door! (Times for breakfast delivery are from 8:30 to 10am, just let me know:)

These 12 acres brings you to a simpler time and place.

Leave your worries behind while you swim from the dock, sit by the fire pit and BBQ with the family. Kitchen area is fully equipped to prepare meals as well. Cabin boasts a screened in porch with lovely outdoor seating to read, chat, or to simply admire the view. 1 bedroom upstairs, 2 twin beds and a futon in the kitchen/dining area downstairs. The Lazy Possum Cottage @PK

The Lazy Possum Cottage is a modern fishing cabin on the north side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This newly remodeled waterfront property offers a gentle slope to the water perfect for swimming and wading. It is usually deep enough to moor a boat or jet skis right at the shore although if the water level fluctuates you might have to tie it up a little further out or use our boat slip at the Marina less than a quarter mile away.
